Title: car kangaroo'ing or bunny-hopping at 2000-2500 rpm?
Post by: GenoneJazzy on May 11, 2024, 01:12:50 AM
Have a 2004 Honda Jazz and just recently I noticed the car starting to kangaroo or bunny hop when accelerating at 2000-2500 rpm quite a bit. The acceleration would be smooth, then the car would jerk backward and then smooth out again after 1-3 hops.

Have the automatic CVT.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

One possibility is worn out rear spark plugs.

They take 8 plugs and the top set are usually replaced and rear set neglected.

Prob ignition coils on their way out! Take each one out and compare for corrosion!
