OK I give up. I've read the manual, hit every button (both real and virtual) on the dash, and can I find how to disable it?The following applies for MY24 (for older models see Kremmen's step-by-step instructions (https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=13858.msg109254#msg109254)):
...It's the icon with a steering wheel in between two slanted lines, right hand side of the steering.
It defaults to off when you switch off the car anyway so you would have to enable it each time you start the car.
Unless you don't mean LKAS at all?
OK I give up. I've read the manual, hit every button (both real and virtual) on the dash, and can I find how to disable it?* press the Home button on the steering wheel
* use the scroll wheel and scroll to "Safety Support"
* press the scroll wheel to select Safety Support
* scroll down until you get to the RDMS icon (the car leaving the lane on the right)
* press the scroll wheel
* select the setting you want
Please keep in mind that this has to be repeated after every power-up (EU regulations).
(also see the manual p158)
What a palava, but thanks. I'll try it next time we are out. It's actually easier to do than to describe :D
RDMS off , with each step images .....

Note: I think newer Jazz models don't have that P button so is performed via the touchscreen instead which must be a backward step ?
Still don't know the point of it, if you drive correctly and have passed your driving test.
Thanks Kremmen. I'll try to remember it all (though I expect I'll keep on coming back for a refresher course)
... although why it can not be a one button (even if virtual) on/off like the stability assist I have no idea.
Wow, thats quite a statement :o
Kremmen's recommendations on how to disable the RDMS has changed my life.
