Title: Missfire not missfire

Hi all.Again me with an update to my post. Maybe now someone can shed more light on me and tell me what would you do in my situation.

Maybe someone have an idea what could be wrong with my jazz. Firstly car jerks a lot when shiffting or if i drive steady and apply more gas it jerks. 
When accelerating and putting car in neutral rpms are fluctuating and eventually evens itself out.
And other one occasionally is when car is cold and i start to drive shiffting from 1st to 2nd and applying gas car acts like someone applyied handbrake (hesitation) and after like a second goes off again.
Sparks changed, air filter cleaned, premium fuel, coils checked, no codes, gearbox oil, engine oil and filter changed last year.

​​​​​​​One week later after this post was created, today... 
UPDATE: just today i changed engine oil (service due) and it's really strong smell of petrol... Could this all be linked!? Spark plugs however, i changed 2 months ago, 60K and i showed them to mechanic i know and he said they are fine. 

When disconnecting from battery and connecting after couple hours, car runs better till relearns i guess.

Forgot to mention Jaz Ge 2013 60k miles but started long time ago and got more noticeable.

You meant EGR valve... I did cleaned it but how to check if it's stuck!?

We've always had a 'miss fire' if you can call it that on our Jazz.

It was traced to the ac compressor cutting in when the AC is on. So can happen quite regularly. We too thought it was the EGR valve at first. Honda investigated and no codes are/were ever thrown.

It can be mad less noticeable by using premium petrol. We just live with it and view it's an 'idiosyncrasy' of the Jazz. We always run the car on premium fuel if possible.

To test it, drive the car with the ac off for a couple of days and see if it goes away. Apparently it is caused by the electrical system being designed to just cope with the demands for the car.  It could do with a beefier alternator and a large battery.

Not sure if this sounds like your symptoms but might be worth exploring.

Its an K&N cleaned month ago and checked today, clean.

Update: today i changed engine oil, cleaned throttle body and EGR valve again. Car felt snappier but that always happens when i disconnect from battery. But rpm float is still persistent.

I tend to drive with AC off only run it occasionally as apparently it's not good when not in use for a while and when these problems are persistent even fan is off.

Remove the k&n replace with blue print air filter after cleaning the throttle body with correct slosh.

My 2012 1.4CVT Jazz has a (clean) K&N filter for a year. No issues as you describe.  And I diy.

Has the K&N filter ever been cleaned - Properly? With K&N fluids. NOT engine oil.
If engine oil has been used it needs to be cleaned and properly oiled.

The explanation given sounds like bull excrement to me.

I never heard of an engine oil method  :o ;D Every day smtn new.
