Title: clutch bleed
Post by: monkeydave on April 23, 2023, 01:28:54 PM
what components do you have to remove to get to the cluch bleed screw as it is in quite a tight space?

how does a main dealer do the job? do they come in from the bottom? has anyone had the clutch bleed at the dealer and how did it go?

thanks

No components have to be removed.
In my italian 1.3 16v it's difficult but not impossible, opening the hood I can see the slave cylinder and the bleed screw, I use a standard 8mm wrench (or 7mm? boh) and an assistant pushing the pedal.
