... recalibrated TPMS (no lube applied to the studs). Will you explain that sentence please?
As you say, a)lucky you were near home, b)you had a Jack and wheelbrace so that you could remove the wheel/tyre and take it for repair. I have to admit that lack of a spare wheel, Jack and in the U.K. at any rate an unusual and not readily stocked tyre size are not features that I am enamoured by.
Out of interest, did you already have a Jack or did you acquire one when you bought your Jazz?
Sorry Neil. The two are entirely separate processes ;-)Ah, thanks. I understood each part but not how they were connected :D
Some people like to apply anti-seize to their wheel nuts. However, the 108 nm is a dry torque rating (by adding anti-seize it can affect bolt tension negatively).
TPMS recalibration is under "Vehicle Settings" in the infotainment. To clear the TPMS warning it requires the driver to take this step.
I thought it already had one as part of the puncture repair kit.
Indeed it does, but it's a pain to repack the hose and wire into the small spaces.

Of course I have one. I was curious if and how compressor worked. It did and was quite a bit slower than the one I bought years ago at Lidl.
And than came repacking... That was once and I hope never again!

Quite a few products in Lidl's Ultimate Speed range are not bad. I bought a trickle charger to replace my CTEK MXS 7.0 (which gave out after 4 months). In fact, I bought 2 as I thought they may not last. My fears were unfounded and 2 years later the 1st is still going strong (and the two together were still £50 cheaper than the CTEK). Perfectly charged both a traditional lead acid battery and an AGM variant. BTW CTEK customer service is abysmal based on my experience...
