Ive seen this COMMA Fully Synthetic 5w30 at GSF for £21.40 after the discount code and wondering if its a good oil brand or not. At the moment ive got Mobil1 oil beeing used and Comma being the cheapest I am wondering whether to use it at the next oil change or not.
Please see the pictures for the specs on the Comma 5w30 Xtech version.

Comma is a decent brand that I would be happy to use. As long as the specs are as mentioned in your manual, it'll be fine. A decent price as well imho.
I've used 5w30 A5 grade Castrol Magnatec in my mk2 for the last two changes. Runs sweet as a nut on the stuff. Just waiting for Halfords to have another sale, as the last two bottles I got were £17.50 for 4 litres! Bargain.

Yes, it's decent quality and it will be fine in a 2006 Jazz. I would be happy to use it.
Oil is a very subjective issue with lots of personal opinions, so others will disagree with me.

Pretty much any oil OK in the Jazz, it is not a high performance engine, I tend to use Castrol magnatec fully synth 5W30, often on special at places like Opie ( or even Halfords, shock :o ) - I have got it from Tesco in the past for less than £20 for 4 litres... but you have to be lucky, and buy it when you see it at Tesco, because next time you go it will not be there.
The main thing with oil is to change it at least every 12 months, regardless of miles, low mileage and short trips can be harder on oil than 'motorway miles'.

I have always run my cars on cheap fully synthetic oil.

Mannol oil works out at £12 per 5litre
Never had an engine under 160,000 miles before I sold them, but I always change my oil 2 times a year. Just before winter when you get all the cold starts then once again in spring so it's ready for the hot weather.

This Mannol 5w30 seems to have so many versions, how can I find out the exact version to my 2006 automatic please? Their website sadly hasn't got the oil selector versions by entering the reg...
