Just taken delivery of a Jazz Mk4 SR and loving it.
Have I missed somthing but the door mirrors do not fold in when locking the car?
The mirrors fold in when using the button inside but not on using the Key fob.
Is the unfold on entry a premium feature only avaiable on the EX?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately automatic folding Mirrors when locking/unlocking the vehicle is an option only available on the XL and Crosstar models. The SR only retracts the mirrors when using the button on the inside of the door.

Just as a test, try how my Civic mirrors fold in from outside ......
First button press locks the doors, second button press double locks the doors, third key press, and hold the button in for a few seconds, folds the mirrors.

Tried this and no luck unfortunately.

Seems a bit stingy considering the mechanics are there anyway.

You can get third party modules :

It's the same with all the manufacturers. They want you to move up the range to get some desirable features but pay a lot more than those features cost. That said, Honda does include a lot on their standard models where other brands start adding a load of extras on the bill.

Yes I get the feature set going up as you go up the range but I would prefer not to have motorised folding wing mirrors if they aren't going to do it automatically.
The extra costs of replacing them means this is actually something I would rather be without if it doesn't do the job automatically.

No, pushing button on remote not working on Jazz SR
But windows can by closed after engine off if driver door not opened within 10 minutes.
The mirrors is another story....
This weird, we can close/ open windows but we can't close or open mirrors after switching engine off....

If it's any consolation the mirrors on my 2019 BMW X1 M Sport do not fold on locking either, only with button inside car.

I wouldn't be able to use my carport or garage, if the mirrors insisted on auto-operating.
I need them to stay folded, while I manoeuvre......

I was worried about that before buying, however on my Crosstar if you fold the mirrors manually using the button in the drivers door they stay folded until you hit the unfold button, regardless of whether the car is locked or not.

Same on the EX I test drove.
