New to me 2006 1.2l Jazz. Checking brakes. Fronts are fine, rears shot, much corrosion. Have got Pagid discs and pads from ECP, but have discovered when opening things up the near side is a mess. The caliper mounting slide rubber bellows are shot, and need replacing - sourced some from Bigg Red. The backing plate is also shot and needs replacing, but I can't find anyone who supplies them, all my usual haunts for these items claim, currently out of stock - which I take as "we don't supply this item"
Anyone know where ( apart from a dealer) I can get one, or are they really dealer only bits???
Cheers

Have you tried car breaker yards ? there is an online breakers on the internet and can source good bits quickly.

Had considered breakers yards, but discounted them as I assumed the bits would be in a similar condition to that which I will be removing. If they are "sound" would consider them though, especially if can't find a pattern part, which is my preferred option - just still can't find a supplier.:(

Spoke to several brake parts specialists - back plates are only from dealers..:(

It'll be dealer only, or a patch up job.
On older cars, 10+ years, you start to find that even the main dealer tells you that certain parts are obsolete.
