Cabin Pollen Filter
« on: August 28, 2018, 08:00:00 PM »
Last week I had a check at the cabin pollen filter on my 2013 reg Honda Jazz. Pretty filthy!   :o Worth while doing a diy replacement now, or wait until car gets service & mot next year?

Just do it. I got one from TMS for less than £3.

I'd change it personally, for all they cost, can't imagine it would matter much either way as long as there is still air flow through it, depends how much it bothers you Brian.

I check it every year before the service. Replaced it once since 2015, a blueprint (€7). An easy diy that can save some money when you do it yourself. Btw, same with air filter.

If it’s filthy replace it now and check next year before MOT and service.

At least you have a pollen filter. When I came to replace mine there wasn't one to change!

You know when it's bad when it sucks the ends of the filter off the frame, trying to get air through   ;)

I change them every year using Mann FP21003 Frecious Plus Interior Air Cabin. They cost more but on eBay or Eurocarprts, they are around £16. I think makes a big difference. Don't tend to smell much car exhaust fumes as before.
