Interior front lights not working, but dome light is
« on: September 26, 2018, 03:55:48 PM »
Hi, I've recently bought a second hand 2015 Jazz, and the interior light stopped working last night. The central dome light is set to auto and still works when the doors are open. Any ideas on whether it could be a bulb or fuse issue, or something else? Many thanks.

The drivers and passengers lights are operated by pushing the outer edges of the unit to both turn on and off.
If it has just failed it is almost certainly a failed bulb. It is rarely a blown fuse. Fuses only blow when there is a problem.

Thanks for that, I should add that I realised soon after posting that I could turn the front lights on and off as you said, but they just won't go on automatically when the doors open. So it seems it can't be the bulbs or the fuse...very odd!

Only the centre light works by the doors opening.
The front ones are called 'map lights'.
