Title: Clicking noise
Post by: scm on December 28, 2017, 10:11:55 AM
Hi All,
just got a Jazz for my wife with about 6k miles on the clock. What I have noticed recently is that there is quite loud clicking noise coming from the engine at regular intervals and especially when car is idling ie. recent defrosting.
It is one loud click noise every 30 sec or so. Any idea what is it and if it is normal for Jazz?

Thanks

Firstly is it a CVT or manual.

Sounds like it might be the Air Con clicking in and out, perfectly normal.

The engine is very quiet when idling, so perhaps that's why you hear the A/C cycling.
