Hi does anyone get annoyed that if you have sky or virgin and do not want all the sports channels you have to pay £18 a month the same if you like moto gp thats £18 on virgin  and if you have bt i think it comes in with one of there tv packs.
No. When I signed up for HD many years ago F1 was part of the package. Despite the passage of time Sky still honour that so I my account still lists 'HD+F1' and I don't need the sports package. Mind you I stopped watching F1 a couple of years ago. Found a regular golfing partner and we play every Sunday which clashes with the races. That and the fact my local team(*) kept winning meant I lost interest.

(*)I live Brackley.

I only have "cooncil telly", and I kind of lost interest in F1 when it moved away from BBC. With Channel 4 I never know, from one race to the next, what coverage we are going to get. sometimes I plan to watch a race, because the highlights are on of an evening, then the result is mentioned on the news or the radio. So then I don't bother.

The cost will not be worrying Lewis Hamilton.
He has just been awarded a contract renewal with Mercedes worth up to £80M for two years, that's £30M  a year plus bonuses.
I know it's a dangerous sport but £80M ??

Vic.

F1 TV coverage for 2019.
Live on Sky, looks like highlights on Ch4 except for British GP which will be live.

I've given up watching the Grand Prix. I don't have Sky, and highlights, late in the evening, are no good to me. I have usually heard the result on the news before it comes on. I was an avid F1 watcher, but not any more. It would be just as well having only Vettel and Hamilton, 6 laps, mandatory tyre change, then one more lap to the flag. The qualifying is far more interesting these days.

Haven't watched F1 for a long, long time - British and world superbike and motoGP much more competitive and exciting to watch, also IoM TT is scary just watching it on TV, those riders are super-men.  Modern F1 cars sound like kitchen food blenders, so F1 not even good to listen to any more.

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

It seems that an engine upgrade has improved performance https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/45769077. But will it survive a race?
