Hello,
I was wondering if it's OK to buy car insurance and breakdown cover separately, instead of both through the insurance company when getting a quote.
I haven't been driving for long, and my renewal quote from Aviva is £964.
LV have quoted £780 insurance, and with their Brittania Rescue breakdown cover it is £850.
(But I have read some bad assessments of Brittania Rescue)
I have found deals on both Start Rescue and Green Flag offering the cover I would like for £35-45.
So I'm considering the 780 insurance with LV and 35-45 breakdown separately, not just to save money but to make sure I have the right services too.
I'm just unsure if there are any negatives to buying them separately or if it's perfectly fine.
