I'd like to replace the speakers in the front. Some websites say you can use 165mm speakers but the adapter on this site says 130mm.

Does anyone know? :)
Thanks in advance :)

I removed the door panel to measure the speaker and the size seems rather odd. Can anyone help?

And does anyone know if I can remove the white plastic and attach some silent coat material instead or what is the purpose of this white plastic?

Attached some pics.

Thanks!

The white plastic membrane is to stop water which comes it the door via the window waist moulding leaking in the car, water should just exist via the bottom drain holes

As Steve says, that white plastic is the 'vapour barrier' which keeps the damp from outside, outside and not inside.
