Driver's seat adjustment
« on: December 05, 2017, 05:20:27 PM »
Finally I got my 2013 Jazz last Friday and I am very happy with the car except for one problem.

Because I'm a big guy I have some troubles adjusting the driver's seat to be comfortable. That is I can't move the seat backwards enough. Has anyone else had the same problem?
I know that the rails on the floor can't be legally moved backwards, but could there be some kind of a trick or easy solution to modify the frame of the driver's seat so it could be moved 1-2 inches backwards? It would help a lot!

The seat rails will have some form of stops on them that prevents the seat going too far back. You may be able to see them if you slide the seat fully forward.
It may be possible to remove the stops which is what I did to a Volkswagen Beetle that I owned many years ago.

These rails would be perfect for my Honda. Unfortunately they don't fit into a 2013 Jazz  :(
