Has your old wiper arm not got a part number you could cross reference to be sure?

I see you've linked a new arm, be also worth checking used from trusted breakers.

With regard to fitment, I can't believe there would be more than one arm for the Jazz mk1. That said, if someone knows more.......

BTW some furious car washing to be snapping wiper arms?

Hi, it was the flipping hot  soapy brush thing in the jet wash that did it. Feller behind me thought it was hilarious. I'd have thought the same to be fair

Never been to a breakers yard in my life, look far too scary. Bolshy blokes walking round covered in oil, not for me.

Any 14 - 20 quid for a new one is fine. The Broke one is the original honda so its part number is not going to relate to the eBay oem one.

Dont let such preconceptions  limit your choice, especially on an older model where breakers yards can be the cheapest, and sometimes the only , way of getting the part . Some of their staff are almost human   ;D

But you dont need to go to a yard .  Search "Used car parts"  on Google  and you will find several 'spares finder ' sites.  You enter your car details   ,and the part you need on the site . Its free .   Several breakers yards across the country  will email you via the site   with their price, including postage.  There is no obligation.
If you buy you use the sites secure payment system.   A bit like a specialised Ebay.

thanks. The issue though is still exactly what model car I have. If I go into that eBay link to check, it eventually drills down to two models they are ....

Honda Jazz 2004 Petrol Hatch 1.3 iDSi AWD II GD_,GE2,GE3Honda Jazz 2004 Petrol Hatch 1.3 iDSi AWD II GD_,GE2,GE3

And ...

Honda Jazz 2004 Petrol Hatch 1.3 iDSi FWD II GD_,GE2,GE3

The part apparenly fits the second model, but not the first.
So, I need to know what model of the above, my car is ??

Sorry. I hope the general information might help in the future  ,or better still  you'll never again need parts  :D

I cant help specifically but I notice the sellers advert description is for 'version without washer'   ( . I think this means some  makes of wiper motor  need a little metal washer for the wiper arm, while others dont - not a reference to the rear water  jet washer)
Car makers typically dont make their own  electrical  parts such as wiper motors, light fittings etc.  They fit parts made by independent 'original equipment' makers  .  Sometimes they randomly and suddenly  change the brand fitted on the production line  due to supply issues, a better price etc.

I think the AWD  or FWD  part of the model number may refer to the make of wiper motor fitted on the day the car was built.   . One takes  a wiper arm with a washer and the other doesnt  .  I dont think it means Front wheel drive  or all wheel drive as I first thought.    If I am right  you wont really know what  version of motor is fitted to your particular car  without a closer check.

You could try messaging the seller.  They may know  that the their version is very likely to be correct. Or they might know how you can tell the difference visually   without reference to whether the old arm had a washer or not. Or they may give some reassurance re a refund if it doesnt fit.

It's the FWD only the Honda Fit version had AWD option IE 4 wheel drive.
I would also look on Amazon uk

The dimensions of the adapter of the Jazz rear wiper are unusual, when I buy a new wiper ,  I remove the old blade from the  wiper assembly and  install the newblade to the wipet assembly
