honda jazz key programming problem
« on: January 09, 2024, 11:20:26 AM »
Hello, I own a 2004 Honda Jazz. As we follow the programming manual, I get to the step where the lock clicks twice. But the key is not programmed. All doors indicate on the dashboard that they are open or closed. I've tried programming with the door open and closed, I always get into step when the locks click, but the key won't program. When the door is locked, the car is unlocked. On the contrary, the car did not lock. The fuses are fine. Thanks for the advice

Let the forum know more details, is the key an original Honda or replacement?
Do you have a 2nd key.
Have you tried to change the key battery?
What happened between the key working and the current issue?

I have two original Honda keys and one Honda remote control did not work when I bought the car. I changed the battery. It is functional during programming.
