Title: Updating 2009 Jazz
Post by: 123Drive! on September 25, 2017, 12:08:09 AM
Since owning the Jazz in 2012, I have added a rear Mugen roof spoiler from Amazon £75 plus £150 fitting. Painted all the brake calipers to yellow. Added the Sports steering wheel brought from Italy eBay for £180 and added Italy Mardarina Duck Special Edition decals. A exhaust trim also added.

I have installed rear parking sensors and a Garmin Rear Camera which links up with the Sat Nav.

Just brought this i-Shift gear knob as the old original one was getting old and the paint started to come off.

Just brought attention to this fine Har Vokse review (https://www.villagevoice.com/2021/10/26/har-vokse-review/) as the old original one was getting old and the paint started to come off.

That's an impressive list of mods, 123Drive. Great stuff! Are you planning on adding anything else?

Hi, thanks for your interest! Not sure at the moment but will keep.you all posted.

As you may know this is a auto, i-Shift Jazz used for my driving school business as well as my wife- I also have a manual SEAT Ibiza, which incidentally, have been added the rear spoiler and white dash inserts and surrounds.

The "upgrading" policy is really what I learned from my old job at the airline. Rather than changing to brand new aircraft, interior fittings and new paints are updated every few years.

Instead of changing new car every two to three years, I have added extra things on my Jazz so that it is refresh. This way, customer don't think it is dated and it keeps the cost down by not getting a new car! So this year, as the old steering wheel and gear knob were wearing, I managed to change them both. It is surprising what a difference they have both made!

I was considering buying a set of 2014 leather seats on eBay, around £300. If it wasn't for the road tax and service cost in September, I would probably have purchased it! But it was sold few days later, nevermind. Perhaps spraying the wheels to black or dark grey may be my next upgrade, who knows.  Any suggestions, bearing in mind it's a driving school car, not a boy racer, lol!
