NASA suspend a planned all female spacewalk
« on: March 26, 2019, 11:25:15 AM »
NASA have announce they have had to suspend a planned all female spacewalk, due to suit size issues.
Whats the bet they said "I am a size 10, always been a size 10", only to find it was too small, to which the reply was "Their sizes must be smaller than usual".
Gentlemen. How many times have we heard that?

... "I am a size 10, always been a size 10", only to find it was too small, ... "Their sizes must be smaller than usual".

There is a marketing trick known as "vanity sizing", which involves manufacturers & stores deliberately mis-labelling clothing sizes (gents as well as ladies):

Not sure that's really a factor here though !

Vanity sizing works the other way round.
