Service costs

Hi,
12 plus service, mot, brake pedal rubber, flush system, rear wiper and new track rod end bellows.... £433, seems a lot, must go and lie down,

£50 to fit new track rod end bellows, already being serviced and mot, I'd say that wasn't reasonable,

Yes, if you can get it done by independent it's a lot cheaper. Unfortunately with Honda, that's the kind of price you pay. I always do the extra work at my local independent. Wipers you can buy yourself online.

Did you ask if they can give you some discount on the work? My local dealer gives 10% off.

With Honda leaving the UK we need to prepare for any parts that will be coming from Japan to be extra expensive, as if they weren't pricey already...

Possibly, although they haven't really got the volume now for the fall to be "big".   

That said, a sizeable chunk of current sales must be to employees and family and friends, so I guess that will cease going forwards.
