when renewing my windscreen wiper rubbers i noticed that the shorter refill after being cut to size the leftovers was only 20mm short of being enough to also do the rear wiper that kind of made me angry and disappointed that the manufacturers could not put that little extra on so you can replace all rubbers it seems an unnecessary waste.
Anyway i have a suggestion, take your old refill from the short blade and put it on the rear wiper, you can leave the locking thing on the end ,they are the same length this will help rotate the rear wiper as they usually get neglected hope this is use full info.
