Tax Code Notice
« on: March 13, 2019, 10:53:34 AM »
Just received notice of my tax code this morning.
On the back was a graphic showing how my tax contributed to public spending.
I've never really looked at this before.
My contribution to the EU was 0.7%
                        welfare          24%
                        Health           20%

The comparison is a lot more striking on the pie chart.
For me, my contribution to the EU worked out at about 37p per week.
Kind of puts Boris's bus in a bit more perspective.
I'd rather continue to contribute to the EU than add to my welfare %age to pay for the jobs lost by this omnishambles.

I pay 15p per week, so when you look at it like that the price is not bad. Just the principles I don't like.

Personally I would rather give £0.37 to the local dogs home than to pay Junckers drinks and private plane bills.....

People who like to pay for the privilege of being humiliated and told what to do normally engage the services of a professional dominatrix....

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot
