Title: MK2 jazz sidelight bulb replacement
Post by: Mr Onion on November 25, 2015, 12:16:53 PM
As per request, photo etc for the 'fun' job of sidelight replacement. The photos are not mine as I can't get my hands and camera in there. All photos are from and copyright http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Honda-Fit-Jazz-Headlight-Bulbs-Replacement-Guide/ (http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Honda-Fit-Jazz-Headlight-Bulbs-Replacement-Guide/)

1) locate the bulb holder by 'feel'  (the top fitting you can see when you open the bonnet is the height adjuster) If you 'wobble' the fitting you can see the bulb move through the headlamp glass

2) it will be VERY tight so a spray with WD40 will help

3) unscrew ¼ turn anti clockwise and remove

4) pull out the bulb, push the new one in, and replace the fitting

5) repeat with the other side

6) test (NOTE, if you are using LED bulbs, test before replacing the fitting into the housing as they will only work one way round)

7) wipe off the blood and put a large amount of cash in the swear box
