Bought some of this in December. It's yet another wash and wax product but, in my experience, this actually works. You use quite a lot - 3 fluid ounces per gallon - and it doesn't foam up that much - but it definitely leaves a significant coating behind.
You rinse the car with a hose then wash the car as normal with a wash mitt or similar. It tends to soak the surface - ie it doesn't seem to bead. When you come to rinse off then - wow! The water beads like crazy. You can then wet dry the car using a gentle flow from the hose and the water just slides off. Finish off with a microfibre towel and your car looks as if it just been waxed.
I'm aware this sounds like an advert but I've been blown away with this stuff.

I've been using Turtle Wax ceramic wet wax spray from the same range, I've found it to be excellent too, really simple to apply.
Beads like crazy and the car seems to stay cleaner for longer before needing washed again.
I'll be buying it again.

I think some people use the product you are describing with the Ceramic Wash and Wax as a drying aid. I'll have to try some.

Currently I just use standard wash'n'wax, dry off, then go over the whole lot with a good quality waterless wash with carnauba wax. That has the desired effect of removing any missed water spots and makes the paint surface high shine and slippery so the microfibre just slides off the bonnet when dropped.

Just bought 2 x 1.42-litre bottles for £25 on Amazon. Looking forward to trying it out.

Ditto! £10.90

Didn't see that when I bought mine. Doh!

Happens sometime, this time both together but a page search sometimes gets the different price

I saw single bottles but they were not Prime so worked out dearer with the postage.

£11.25 ebay.. Aberdonian upbringing overthrown. Bought one to try.

Gave car its first wash since buying it in December. Handwash, two-bucket method, using Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Wash and Wax. Just a wash and no polish. Not too shabby for a 14-year-old car.

That'll improve your mpg :)

Rather than using large buckets and lots of expensive 'ceramic wash and wax ' every wash just to remove road dirt I currently wash the car with 'turtle wax max power car wash,' at its weakest strength to get the car clean. No wax. it is said to be compatible with their hybrid ceramic wash and wax but significantly cheaper.
Then about every 3rd wash, after washing with' Max power' I immediately wash the car again with half a bucket of water containing hybrid ceramic wash and wax, but only half as much concentrate needed for half the water. As I am not having to waste copious amounts of water to flush away dirt from a clean car I find half a bucket is enough to copiously coat the car with the high tech nano technology. I follow the instructions to optimise this treatment. It also appeals to my frugal upbringing (scottish mother ;) )

I too, only use half a bucket of water, which is more than sufficient to wash a car of this size. Even then there is still plenty left once it is washed. I am considering just using a pint tumbler next time I wash it!

I did two Mk4s on Saturday on one 10 litre bucket.

I'm also a big fan of the Turtle Wax HS Ceramic Spray Coating, excellent stuff..
