Avatar - how to add?

Apologies before I begin, seem to be going round in circles a bit.

I thought I had added an Avatar but it is not now there, probably did it wrong, how is it done please?

Click on Profile, Modify Profile, Forum Profile, Upload an avatar then Choose file and locate the picture on your computer.

Thank you very much, easy when route spotted or remembered now, finger problems probably stopped original effort.
