RIP Johnny Dumfries.
« on: March 23, 2021, 06:51:03 AM »
John Crichton-Stuart, the seventh Marquess of Bute, better known as Johnny Dumfries, has died, aged 62. He drove for Lotus in 1986, where he was a teammate of Ayrton Senna.
His real claim to fame was when he won Le Mans 24 Hours for Jaguar in 1988, with Jan Lammers and Andy Wallace.

Another sad announcement, and of an age many of us can relate to.

I was at Le Mans in 88 to cheer on the Jaguars, good memories.
