tech fault - slow driver

hi all, My friend has an 05 Jazz auto owned since new. It has a tricky fault - It starts on the button and runs but only slowly about 25moh no more. A garage has tried changing sensors but this has not cleared the fault. Has anyone else had the same fault? or can suggest a fix.

Welcome. Is it a case of the engine not revving up? The throttle is electronic and if that has become disconnected or faulty that may cause the problem described. I take it the car has not been seen by Honda or an auto electrician?
