The poll means that there are at least 267 members owning a MK4 Jazz  :D

I've had Honda Jazz cars since 2010, the current car is No6 and my second Mk4, a 2023 Advance.
No problems of any sort with any of them ;D ;D

Well I had my test drive today and I’m very impressed with the Jazz

It drives really well and is nippy enough

What probably impressed me the most was on the motorway doing 60-70 where I found that it got up to speed with no fuss and I thought it was pretty quiet sitting at 70

The ride is obviously not as smooth as my Prius but it’s perfectly smooth enough

Totally different cars though, with totally different drive trains. The latter only a year old, so I hope you can say it still performs as well as the Mks that went before it as the years roll by.

When discussing the new price for the Jazz Advance apparently there is some ‘wiggle room’ so I’ve asked them to email me their best price

That was first thing this morning and I’m still waiting for the email

I will be driving a new Yaris just so I can get an idea between the two of them

When I bought my Jazz in 2022 I used WHATCAR new car deals to get some quotes from dealers across the country.
As it happens my local dealer responded through WHATCAR with a competitive offer.

It got me a couple of £k off my EX for starters.

Yes I’ve used Carwow for the same thing and had 5 quotes and two of them were at least £2k less than my dealer has so far offered

I accept what you say, my first Jazz was an I-shift, which nearly put me the Jazz for life, however the others up to the Mk 4 were all CVT’s, which perhaps I didn’t keep long enough,  to run into the oil change issues. The first Mk4 was a 2021 plate which covered about 15k miles, with no issues. For me, I consider the current drive train/performance to be the best yet. ;D ;D

I still have had no response from the dealer regarding their best price which they were supposed to be emailing to me

If I don’t ever hear from them again then I will just give up; if it’s that difficult to potentially part with cash it gives me no confidence with them with after sales service either

Many dealerships don't want p/ex or do deals they are transfixed with selling finance add ons etc, the vehicle is an inconvenience.

I just got a really good p/ex on my Crosstar and the dealership said it was just the type of car they wanted, I would try shopping somewhere else!

Well they will be out of luck with me as I don’t want finance and the only add ons I would buy would be a service plan and extended warranty

If selling a vehicle is an inconvenience to them then I just wouldn’t deal with them

The next nearest Honda dealer is a fair distance from me and it’s part of the same franchise

When I drive the Yaris to compare I don’t expect the same treatment as I know the dealer very well and they have always been excellent
