Question: How to Remove OEM GE Spoiler?
« on: January 15, 2019, 09:05:59 AM »
Hi Guys

Does anyone know how to remove the smaller OEM spoiler on the GE Jazz.

Part number 08F02-tF0-0000

This Style:

There isn't any indent in the two bolt covers to put a trim removal tool to apply pressure, and I've tried putting pressure on it, but the cover won't budge, and I don't want to damage the original spoiler, as I would like to be able to sell it when I eventually replace it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you :)

Chris

The covers lift at the back and pivot forward.

See the fitting instructions page 10

Awesome, thank you for that. I couldn't find an instruction manual anywhere for the spoiler.

The Velcro had got stuck quite firm, so it was harder to pry it off, but I just pried a bit harder.

I wanted to get it off so I could test fit my Honda Fit Sport spoiler from the US.
Thankfully, the screw holes are in exactly the same position, so I don't have to drill new ones, which is a big relief!

I just have to get it repainted now!
