Cold weather - squeaky trim?
« on: December 24, 2018, 10:22:52 AM »
Hi,
Since the weather is turning slightly colder, I have noticed that on cold mornings there are new squeaks and rattles from various bit of interior trim in my Jazz. Mainly from behind the dashboard and drivers door card. Once the cabin temperature increases, most seem to disappear (aside from the door card). I get that plastic and metal expand and contact with extreme temperature variation, but does anyone else suffer the same? What level of squeaks and rattles would you put up With?

Yep
Can't remember my mk1 having winter squeaks but it probably did.
My mk3 definitely has one, right side of the steering column somewhere near where the switches are. Just have to learn to live with them
