Front fog light lens
« on: March 03, 2018, 01:06:26 PM »
Something has smashed the lens on my front nearside fog lamp.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement cheap?  I've looked online and it only looks like I can get the whole unit, and it's way too expensive!

Alternatively, does anyone know of a replacement LED unit which fits with minimal adjustment work?

as far as i know the unit comes as you have found out as a complete unit.

have you tried euro car parts and the like for a cheaper replacement?

I changed the drivers side fog light, bought it off Ebay for £56, and a year later its damaged again, but just a cracked glass, so leaving it for now. Its an easy job to replace it.

Try a scrapyard.  You may be lucky.

A little while back, front fogs were being offered on Ali Express for about £35 a time. On a Mk2 it is a complete unit no spare parts offered. I have a broken bracket, which I repaired as opposed to the £166 for a Honda part and that wasn't all of it.

If you go to www.parts-honda.uk, there it possible to compare spares. I found that a Honda Ballade rear window switch was the same as the Mk2 Jazz.
This site allows you to look up a particular model get the part number and then compare it with the Jazz. I have never been able to work out how to convert Lings part numbers to Honda part numbers.
The parts honda site gives access to all the models, simply.
Look up the Jazz part number then the Accord number.
Pain in the bum but it does work.
There is another site for part comparison but I can never get it to work.
Good hunting.

I put Lamin-X film on the lamps on our 2009 car but must admit I've never got around to it on the 2014.
