Pick up my Jazz Si this Friday
« on: December 07, 2017, 09:19:31 AM »
Hi all,
After a change in circumstances I found the need to down size me car from a 2008 Saab 93 Aero cab TTiD which I was commuting around the M25 daily in to something to something a little less expensive to run.

Looked at a few options but settled on a 2012 Jazz Si which I pick up this Friday.
Guessing it’s a GE6 being a Mk2 Jazz but the whole GE6/GE8 thing is a little confusing?!

Plan on dropping in a K&N panel filter straight away but probably not much more in the short term.

If there are members in the SE area (Kent) always up for meets at Lakeside/Bluewater etc to put faces to names and see cars up close.

Look forward to meeting people and as soon as I collect the car I will post pics

Welcome, Christopher. Hope you enjoy your car. Your GE6/GE8 differentiates the model and engine configuration. When you get your car, you will see by the VIN number exactly what it is.

I've had the SI as a loan car in the past. Nice looking car.

I speak from experience and suggest that a K&N filter is a waste of money. The performance gains,if any, are negligible and for the £50 it will cost you can buy two standard filters that will last you for 50K miles.
