What would you change for the MK4 JAZZ?

Honda had hydrogen fool cell (sorry fuel cell ) cars way back with Clarity,  they were also making a battery EV in 1997.

Anyone else think their latest concept EV looks like old Golf GTi ??

It will be easy for conventional car makers to introduce a BEV - they already have the supply chain and skills to produce mind blowing numbers of vehicles per year (unlike some newcomers).   BEV are simpler to make than conventional cars and they will be able to buy improved motors, control systems and batteries 'off the shelf' once others have thrown money at them and made huge losses in the meantime.  There are lots of older Nissan Leafs around that have suffered banana republic rates of depreciation for people who just need a shopping trolley. 

Given the present rate progress in the technology the early adopters have suffered from built in obsolescence on a grand scale,  as well as a lack of infrastructure.

IMHO the real money may be made by people who supply the electrics and batteries - Panasonic,  Bosch, etc.

I would like to see the return of the hybrid Jazz with more powerful motor and higher capacity battery than the Mk 2 hybrid. Honda already sell a hybrid Mk 3 Jazz in other parts of the world but sales of the Mk 2 hybrid in Europe were limited, probably because the the price premium too high and battery capacity too low to give much benefit except in stop-start driving conditions. The motor in a hybrid also compensates for the performance limitations of the Atkinson cycle while keeping the extra economy.
