Passenger seat 09 jazz

We want to buy the Jazz, 1.4iVTEC ishift semi automatic , however my wife finds the passenger seat uncomfortable and after test drives she has had some backache. She has never had this problem in any other car or the "van" seats in our Motorhome.

Anybodyelse had this problem?

Also I did not find the automatic gear change very smooth it seemed to dwell then jerk.
Is it me not been used to the car or is it the car. Everything else was fine.

Gear change should improve as you & the car adjust to one another as miles mount - using paddles on familiar routes helps with a road that causes the gear box to change up - down & then up again  ie. on an undulating country road

My wife is very comfortable in our 09 Jazz but uses a BackShape cushion with great success in our Mazda 5.  Available from openerg.com.
