Generally good advice above .....
In powertrain engineering we would monitor oil analysis during development work and determine when to change oil based on that (plus looking out for wear/contamination with coolant etc), but of course we don't tend to have that sort of info to hand out in the real world (except larger fleet users perhaps).
Various car manufacturers use "service interval indicators" which use some sort of algorithm to equate the actual use (stop/start/run-times etc) to a likely oil condition, and as Brakballe rightly says, short cold runs account for most of the deterioration due to contamination. Motorway use is good!
In view of the relatively low cost, if you are able to do a simple oil/filter change yourself, or have a local garage who will do it at reasonable cost, then an annual change makes sense in keeping things simple. I tend to do annual changes with my vehicles just to keep it simple, and as said, always change the filter with the oil, the cost is trivial regardless of what any service schedule might suggest. If you are doing something like 6K miles or 10K km per year then it fits nicely anyway.
As you have a CVT, remember to get the CVT oil changed regularly too, this seems to be quite important in the Honda CVT transmissions. If in doubt always use the Honda recommended oil (though some folk have used other brands successfully). 2yrs or 25k miles is the recommended interval. You can find the correct oil spec here
