Squeaky clutch pedal

Hi, has anybody came across a squeaky clutch pedal before. Can't see it's rubbing on anything in the footwell. Any body got any ideas? Any thing appreciated, the noise is getting a little bit annoying now

Oh Yeah, I've got one too. It doesn't always happen but usually if I'm in traffic and it's released slowly. Not figured out why yet too

Hi, i recently bought a 2006 1.2 jazz and after a couple of weeks the clutch started squeaking. It drove me crazy! I contacted the service department of my local dealer who informed me this can be a common problem with some Hondas. I booked the car in and they lubricated the clutch master cylinder which did the trick. Back to almost silent motoring again!

##Update 22/01/2010##
Okay, this lasted for 3 weeks before the squeaking started again! Again, the dealer tried lubricating the master cylinder but this only lasted for a short time. They have now replaced the master cylinder and so far...so good! All done under warranty as I bought an approved used car.

Now to get the water leak sorted out!

Funny enough the last week I've also developed a squeaky clutch pedal (07 Jazz 1.4, 25,000miles)

Correction, on my Jazz it is the accelerator pedal and not the clutch which squeaks.
