Cleaning Velour Seat Covers
« on: January 20, 2016, 12:17:02 PM »
Just how do you get a decent clean? I can get the dust and fluff off OK, but some things (like hair) get stuck in the fabric and wont Vacuum out nor will the 'reversed sticky tape' method work.

I'm stumped, so over to you

Tweezers. Hair by hair... ;)
A long time ago we had a Volvo with velour seats AND a labrador. Although the dog was in the rear i was busy for hours to pull out the hairs in the seats. With tweezers.

Thanks!  :'( I don't think I will live long enough to get them all off the seats  if I try doing it like that

Vacuum cleaner with a motorised head (or at least a brush attachment)?

A hand brush with rubber bristles?

A latex glove?

I once had to remove dog hair from carpet of a car I bought.. Kitchen glove and pumice stone are the two things that worked..

Been there, designed the T shirt. It removes the ones from the surface, but the others preferred to stay behind
