Boot liner
« on: January 10, 2016, 09:33:31 PM »
Hi Folks,  i go for 10 mile walks most Sunday's.
At the moment I'm putting all my rucksack,  boots etc behind the front seats with the magic seats up
I would like to use the boot but i don't want the plastic trim scratched.
So...anyone here used a boot liner ?
Looking for one with a fold out , over bumper bit.

Plenty on Ebay, depends on how much you want to pay, I bought one of the fitted rubber mats for a Jazz, though it does not cover the bumper I drape an old towel over when needed, both the mat and towel are easy to wash if they get muddy. :)

These are excellent:

No doubt they are excellent but 100quid for something to stick dirty shoes on! I took a stanley knive to a heavy gauge damp proof sheet, cut it to fit snugly, doubled it up, glued the seams and had enough left over to make a flip out bit for the bumper, and a full length liner when seats folded down for the mrs megane. Prob not as pretty (cant tell covered in rubbish and dirt!) But for prob 80quid? less i dont care

Wow.

True , those are....very.....nice.

I'm very tempted , be a fantastic addition to keep my boot like new and they do them in blue  :)

Thank you all for your input.

Good point about damp proof membrane,  I'm in the building trade so could scource some of that.

Cheers all.
