Leather Handbrake Glove/Cover
« on: January 04, 2016, 01:40:00 PM »
To go with the Leather Steering Wheen Cover I have just fitted a leather cover to the handbrake. There are loads out there, some better than others. I started with one from AliExpress, which was far too short and looked terrible.

The one that has just arrived is from Redline Goods Poland

It took under a week from Dispatch to Arrival (and over New Year too) packed in a padded envelope (as expected) and is made of good quality leather.

It is obviously a tight fit, so turn it inside out (excepting the last cm or so) then slide it on, pulling it tight as you go. A trim removal tool or long blunt knife helps to keep it tight. Poke it down with the same tool to fit it inside the plastic trim.

COST:- $49 inc free P&P (I had a 20% off offer which made it better value @ about £27)

QUALITY:- Excellent

CONS:- The area around the press button is not as neat as I would have hoped for, but it is a difficult area to get right.

FITTING TIME:- 5 min once you have it turned inside out

DISCLAIMER:- This was paid for out of my hard earned shirt buttons, but I am getting $5 for writing this review (which I would have done anyway)
