Is TPMS light on an MOT failure
« on: November 25, 2019, 07:44:35 AM »
Still struggling with TPMS, or not.

I note someone having issues having swapped to different winter wheels and the TPMS not recalibrating.

The advice was to put tape over the light!

Is having a constant TPMS light on not an MOT failure?

Short answer, I don't know.

My impression was that any warning light is an MOT failure. But IIRC the TPMS is a "caution" and don't know if these are classified the same.

'Any warning light' was my impression too.

It is an MOT failure, so swap your wheels back for MOT.

As said above, TPMS warning light is now a MOT failure on cars registered after 1st January 2012.
