Hi, does anyone have a photo of where they tapped a fuse to hardwire a parking mode dashcam? I looked under the driver side dashbox fuse panel and there seems to be a lot of empty spaces but i have no idea which are suitable.
Thanks

Only way to check the empty slots is with a meter or your tap, but this list might help: http://www.hondafitjazz.com/manual/A00/HTML/K0/SAA2EK0J54260400000CBAT00.HTML
From this list I think the only permanent power option are really #5 & #16, the lock actuator circuits might drop the voltage enough to switch off the dash cam if it doesn't have an internal battery or capacitor in the supply.

On my car, fuse 8 covers the power receptacle, so I used that for the dashcam. Since fitting it about 10 months ago I have recorded some astonishingly bad driving, mainly unfortunately by impatient ladies! My one has a 32Gb SD card which can record 4 hours of HD video
I bought it from Gearbest in the USA and it was $43 including the card and shipping. I imported 16 of them to create a group buy and saved on the shipping and insurance

Where do you get the small fuse holders? I got the F770 dashcam and extra hardwire kit but the fuses and holders were far too big, honda jazz must use mini fuses.

Fuse box looked too tricky for me so used a dual cigar lighter plug and run a 1 meter cable under the trim round the drivers side up and along to the internal mirror and secured the camera just to the left of the mirror so out of vision sight for GB MOT test, works fine.

You're right it takes mini blade fuses. eBay or Amazon for "mini blade fuses" should get you there, or "mini fuse tap" if you want to piggyback an existing fuse.
Not sure how long you can leave a camera powered in parking mode before it has an impact on the car's battery, probably 24 hours.

The thinkware f770 is supposed to disable itself before it runs the battery down.
