Do Honda offer more than one type of carpet mat for sale?

The ones I got free with my new Jazz last year are medium-dark grey in colour with 'Jazz' logo on the front driver's mat.    Underside is some sort of shiney (when new) plasticky/rubbery rough finish.  The driver's mat has two ring reinforced holes in them.

I feel the quality of these Jazz mats are inferior to the plush carpet mats that came with the Civic I bought 10 years ago.

As far as I know there is only 1 genuine available mat for the jazz which is identifed by the two holes on the drivers side which hook onto a clip to hold it on place

The driver's mat has a 'Jazz' logo. The clip to hold the mat in place is not always fitted - the dealer who sold my first Jazz left it off due to customer feedback.

Could just be me but I find the mats don't wear that well. :o

thats the exact reason i want to change to rubber much more hard wearing my jazz logo ones slip all over and you have to destroy your car to get that bloody clip on.

I could never get that clip on so I left it off Jazz No.1! The mat would slip about easily without it!

The poor durability is evident on my 13,000 07-reg car as I most of the time I don't carry passengers, so the drivers one is much more worn then the others.

my driver's floor mat drops onto two pegs that stick up from the floor.

Are you saying there is supposed to be a securing clip to keep the carpet on the pegs?

i haven't found any issues with the carpet moving, but then it may be because mine is a cvt model so I keep my lazy left foot planted on the carpet all the time.

Hi
I bought a set of Honda floor mats for my recently acquired Jazz and the set came with the hook assembly and screw. The end cap on the drivers seat runner needed to be flipped off and behind that was a screw hole already for the hook assembly to be fixed - a simple 2 minute job.
You just need to ensure that mats with holes come with this unless it's already in the car
