Hello all.

I have just bought a 2009 Jazz EX 1.4 auto for the mrs, and am looking forward to collecting it next week!

Some years ago I had a '95 Honda Shuttle 2.2 ES and it was the nicest car to drive I've ever had. We were considering a Colt 1.5 Di-D but I found this particular car at a local dealer being sold on the cheap, as it is a cat D that was previously repaired after a bump at the front. 8 years old with only 30k and one owner!

cheers, John

Welcome. I hope you and your Wife enjoy the Ishift. You will no doubt receive much negativity  about the Ishift. I and many other Jazzers are very happy with it.  It has it's moments like all computer driven items.
Good luck and enjoy your Honda

Thanks for that. I've been messing about with computers since the ZX81 so I have no fear in that department  ;) . My wife has only ever driven a Micra K11 CVT so she won't notice the difference...

Finally picked up the car today! It does exactly what it says on the tin. (My other car is a 2014 Mercedes B Class Sport that was 4 times the price so any comparison would be futile ;) )

It was showing 48mpg on the run home, so no complaints there, and okay the ishift is a bit odd but I can live with that. My wife's old Micra was up, down, in, out, shake it all about with the ratios so nothing new there....

Cheap, comfortable motoring with acres of glass (especially with the panoramic sunroof which was the main reason for buying it) and the most important thing is that it is simple to operate.
