« on: August 28, 2012, 08:46:48 PM »
i bought my jazz at the end of march, it was in standard form, and in good condition with only 13,000 miles on the clock.

during the time i've owned the car, i have carried out a few modifications to it.

the exterior modifictaions are -

-mugen carbon fibre rear spoiler
-mugen carbon fibre grill
-mugen wind deflectors
-honda access front fog lights
-genuine honda l.e.d tail lights
-12x6 no. plates
-tinted rear windows

steering/suspension -

-weitec -30mm lowering springs
-15" calibre pro7 alloy wheels
-14x8" banded steel wheels
-ebc greenstuff brake pads

exhaust-

hks windmaster back box, removed from an ef civic, and custom fitted.

interior-

-pioneer double din multimedia head unit
-pioneer front speakers and tweeters
-honda access rear speakers
-kenwood 150w subwoofer
-honda civic ambient blue footwell lighting, adapted to fit.

and heres how the car looks now with the above parts fitted -

and with the banded steelies on -

i'm really enjoying the car, it's good fun to drive, returns decent mpg, and looks good  :)

Very different 8)

Looks like we are getting more modders on the forum which is good to see what other members have managed to do :)

She looks great, certainly stands out with the work you have done. 8)

Your banded steel wheels look fantastic.
Did you buy them new, or have you modified the originals? If so, where did you get them done?

Any plans for the future?

Thanks guys !

I had the standard fit steelies banded, they were done by a company called A.C Fabrications in Scarborugh. I then had them painted by the bodyshop at my work.

My next mods are a Blitz panel filter and Hel brake lines, which I just need to fit.

I plan to order EBC redstuff pads and upgraded discs soon aswell.

Steelies are p0rn! In combo with blue lug nuts.. = PERFECT! :) Exhaust is bit big for my taste but what a hell! Go 4 it!  Maybe short antenna? For a bit more slim line.

CF parts are awesome. Don't want to know the price. :)
Question. Would this grill also fit to my GD1 or...? Think not. :( I would like to change my OEM grill but just can't find real, fake, aftermarket,... or I found one in Malaysa, Philippines,... and then shipping costs kill you.

Also sucks there is no mudflaps for Sport Jazz. They were always A MUST on my ex EK, EG and DC cars.

Cheers ! I had to roll the rear wheel arches, as they rubbed going over the slightest bump in the road. They still rub sometimes, and I can't have any rear passengers, but they look good  :)

The grill should fit your GD1, its a good fit and is well made. The only thing I changed on it was the mesh centre. It comes silver so I had it painted black.

Its a decent price too, and the shipping prices are low.

Here's the link for where I bought mine -

Thanks ! I got the rear lights from Honda. It was about £450, which is for the light lenses, plus the l.e.d bulb panels. They fit straight on, and the wiring is just a case of unplugging the standard lights, and plugging in the l.e.d set.
