If you visit the 'Honest John's' website there is some very interesting information on MOT records:

http://good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/mot/honda

You are able to view records for various models and also for various years, it also lists component failures.

What does "Drivers view of the road" mean in an MOT test?

I see, might this be the PC or technical term to say the window glass is not scratched or damaged.  I would assume that cracks in the glass would cause a fail?

I believe it also refers to anything in the vicinity of the windscreen which can obstruct forward vision of the road, for example black and white 'fluffy dice' which would be suspended from the rear view mirror.

They were a popular accessory here in the UK in the 1970's!

I have just googled 'fluffy dice' and you can still buy them.  :)

so basically remove any air freshners and other things that may obstruct your view? :P
id think this view of the road would also count on your rear window...since when reversing you have to be able to see where you are going? might have to ask when i get the car MOT'ed in august....such a long time to wait though :(

For sale:  1 x set fluffy dice.  Recently washed and smells of "Pine forest in the Alps"  Offers?

Some idiots here suspend a CD disc from the mirror and you get blinded every now and then when the sun catches it.  Does wonders for the concentration
