Car Aerial

Good Morning,

Quick question.

Will a radios reception, both DAB and normal FM work without the aerial screwed into the hole on the roof of the car.

Car in relation is a Nissan Qashqai

Jonathan,  I removed my aerial to fit a shorter one so that the garage door closes.
Out of interest I tried the radio with the aerial removed and it was fine although we are in a good signal area. We don't have DAB so can't comment on that.
The aerial only unscrews so remove and try it out.
