Resient Parking & road resurfacing!
« on: March 20, 2019, 05:35:41 PM »
Hi, Left home this morning to be met with god knows how many 'temporary signs' on lamposts and on small A frames around our small area of residents parking!

The signs simply say, 'No loading, No parking, No waiting' also, 'No exemptions for disabled badge holders' and then between dates of 26th March 08.00 and 29th March 17.00'.

This gives 6 days for about 20 residents to find alternative parking for 4 days of roadwork. There is nowhere to park as we are directly off a main road!

Do any posters/readers know if 6 day notice to residents is compliant, or should we be given longer? Normally, our LA are quite sensible about this sort of thing and have in the past posted leaflets giving details of impending work & even allowed meetings/consultations on matters. However, this time it is as above!

MTs for any help advice!
