Jazz auto revs from 1000-2000 when in park or neutral .

Jazz 2008 auto . Been sitting for a few months ans needed new crankshaft sensor . Replaced and now it drives fine , ok in gear , but in P or N it revs rhythmically . Anything to do with new part ? Thought i had gone through the process and got the correct one but ...

Did you disconnect/damage any vacuum lines? I removed one on my manual to access the spark plugs and forgot to reinstall it, it sat there revving up and back down again
