Hi there,
I got a 56 plate Jazz sport and the front windscreen had been changed when I bought the car.
I didn't notice that much before buy recently the front wind screen is not clear (its like you got a layer of fog on the screen. I turn the AC on and it went clear. after I turn the AC off it back to normal for a while.
I know this happen on the rainy day and the temperature on the other side of the windscreen is cooler than the inside hence this happen but I am talking about a normal day which is not even cold.
anyone had this issue? will that be any air / pullen filter I need to change?
many thanks

The fact that it is a new windscreen is not relevant.
It is possible that the air selector is set to 'recirculate' in which case there is no fresh air coming into the car which will make it much more prone to misting up.It clears with air con on because conditioned air is dry.

I think i found the issue now.
the inside window got a thin layer of 'dust' on it.
I dont know how that happen. I use kitchen towel and try to give a little area a clean and i spot the difference straight away.
might need go give the window a good clean. its better at the moment but not the best.
will see how it goes.
Thanks.

Try using autoglym car glass polish.
Helps keep misting down.

I use a Spontex green glass cloth to keep the glass clean.
Find it in the household cleaning aisle in the supermarket.

I found that the inside of the windscreen collects more dust in winter, when it might be damp outside. The glass polish helped a bit but eventually you have to use elbow-grease and a soft impregnated cloth, like Richard suggested

White spirits will clean it

methylated spirit, does the outside good too, add some to your screen washer bottle to get road film off, has a funny smell, you soon get used to it.
My pet hate when driving is a dirty / smeary screen.
