any member changed the evaporater on the jazz 2010/11. i have been told this is a fault in my system but nobody will take the job on. they say the dash board has to be removed and its a 10hr job.
has anyone changed theirs, do the dash have to be removed. its it an easy job to do yourself and what is involved in the removal.

Fortunately had no A/C problems with my Jazz but from experience on other cars, the evaporator is normally behind the dash, which usually needs to be removed. Think cabin heater replacement and you should understand why many  garages do not want the work.

Is it an A/C specialist who has diagnosed the problem?

In this video it doesn't look as though the whole dash was removed.
